So the Farm participated in the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby.
Last year we won for best costumes, woohooo!
And this year we won Best Art!!!
Our theme was OMG GMO. (oh my god genetically modified organisms)
No idea what GMO is? No worries, read this article: GMO Article. Scary Stuff.
We were thinking that it would be a fun theme and a great way to do some subtle education about the craziness that is Genetically Modified Food.
Our amazingly talented captain was Mat Shiley, an incredible artist/sculptor/crazybike maker. He built a giant mutant vegetable chicken float! See picture below!
